"Good music and good company, can blow your mind and set you free..." says Perry Hutchins as they prepare you for a ride into the debut EP.
Blending styles of rock, blues and country, Perry Hutchins focuses on writing songs about everyday life that people can relate to. Drawing influences from artists like Kid Rock, The Black Crowes, The Cadillac Three, Candlebox and Blackberry Smoke; among many others, Perry Hutchins has developed a style and attitude sure to turn heads.
What started as a solo project for frontman and guitarist Eric Perryman, quickly began to transition into a full band after high demand for more shows. Eric began writing original music in between his time playing in various local cover bands. With the help of some good friends and fellow musicians, they released the debut EP "A little country... a little blues... a lotta rock n roll" in October of 2016. Since then, Perryman has solidifed a permanent touring lineup consisting of Mark Essick (Guitar, Vocals), Dan Pasowicz (Bass) and their latest recruit from Ukraine, Iuri Telezyhskyy (drums). The band has found themselves filling their schedule to promote the debut EP, playing some of best venues in Chicago and the midwest. Having seen airplay around Chicago, Milwaukee, Los Angeles, the UK and even Australia, the EP has already began to capture buzz with its refreshing feel-good fuse of high energy rock n roll melded with bluesy, southern rock riffs, and topped off with a dash of modern country sing-alongs. The songs are heavily saturated with situations and common truth that we all encounter in every day life, making the music easily connected with any audience. Having played some of Chicago and the Midwest's best venues such as The Hard Rock Café, House Of Blues, 115 Bourbon Street, Milwaukee Bike Rally, The Forge, Q&Z Expo Center, The Cubby Bear, Chicagoland Speedway, Bub City, Old Crow Smokehouse plus many more; and having already had the chance to meet and share the stage with national acts like Black Stone Cherry, Jerrod Niemann, The Temperance Movement, Shaman's Harvest, Josh Thompson, Royal Bliss, Samantha Fish, Saliva and more, the band is beginning to find themselves on bigger and better stages each show. Perry Hutchins has only begun to scratch the surface of what looks to be a promising journey. The new unit has already begun writing songs for the first full length album with a release date yet to be determined.
Be sure to stay connected for more news and releases; and with more shows dates being added weekly, be sure to come out and see a live show. The music is something to listen to but the live shows are something to see! Perry Hutchins is a well oiled machine and they are a must see live.
